Lori Schumacher, PA-C, MPAS

The provider who will sit with you long enough to see the bigger picture.

I've never been the kind of person who does anything halfway.

I worked my way as a radiology technologist to PA school, where I balanced coursework with raising an infant and at that time, relocating my family to Nebraska, simply because that's what it took. I started my career in family medicine, emergency care and urgent care, and from day one, I brought the same energy to every patient: I will outwork this problem until we figure it out together.

That drive is what led me to functional medicine. I wanted to go deeper for my patients, beyond the single symptom, into the full picture. Their diet, environment, stress, history, all of it. I wanted to be the kind of provider who takes the time to truly understand someone before making a single recommendation.

So I built a practice where I can do exactly that.

I believe healthcare can be more personal, more thorough, and more focused on the long term.

I believe in sitting with you for 90 minutes because you can't understand a whole person in a rushed 15-minute appointment. I believe in looking at the bigger picture: past medical history, daily lifestyle and your personal health goals. And I believe that when you change the short term, you change everything that comes after.
